Welp here goes...!

Hello!!! My name is Ally, nice to meet ya!
I am 23 years old- and currently not trying to make this sound like a very bad first date ha!

I'm just a young twenty something looking to explore and add some life XP to this here noggin. I am very friendly and easy going. I love meeting new people and listening to their stories. I would say my favorite feature of myself would be my capacity for empathy and understanding. Very non-judgmental and open minded to all walks of life.

If you are not so much on the talkative side or prefer your own company than that is completely okay with me, so if any future hosts would prefer me to keep to myself that is totally cool too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am wanting to finally drop the shackles of tradition and small town point of view to pursue my dream of traveling and experiencing more of what this big blue beautiful world of ours has to offer.

I come from a modest family background from the heart of Texas where the sun is hot and the state is bigger than most countries. I grew up a little sheltered and conservatively but I have never really felt to be on the same wavelength of my family, friends and the general consciousness of my hometown. I've danced back and forth between Austin ( the closest large city from my home) and my comfort zone of small little Belton, TX.

And every time I leave Austin I feel a pang of loss and opportunity fade.

For me, I have done a lot of soul searching in my short lifetime and I finally feel like I have come to a place mentally where I feel confident (eeeek! I think!) enough and capable enough to pursue my true passions in life: Traveling, creating art-in all forms, making genuine and deep connections with people, inspiring others-being inspired by others, and leaving my mark.

There's never a better time than now and right now I want to see it all!
