ABOUT ME

Hey there!
I'm a student in Cincinnati, Ohio, studying for my BFA in Dramatic Performance.

I love visiting new locales to create artistic and creative opportunities for myself.

I come from a family of eight siblings, and am used to solving problems, not creating them. Additionally, my family is very grounded in where they live, and I love shocking them by being as nomadic as possible.

I LOVE warmth and sunshine! I love fascinating people that take an active approach to their lives. I love edging outside of my comfort zone, and making my challenges work for me. :)

I also love Lucky Charms.

I am clean, responsible, and love lending both my hands around homes.

PHILOSOPHY

I take risks because I believe in the future.

...IN FACT, once I died my hair blonde (which is a horrible choice for me), and only didn't cry by telling myself, "Tomorrow is a new day, tomorrow is a new day, tomorrow is a new day..." :)

Interests

I'm currently most fascinated by the Winter Olympics!

I am also interested in theatre, classical and contemporary, and many other artistic ventures (painting, paper work, photography, MUSIC)

I am fascinated by people who are competent cookers, and would love spending an evening with someone that will let me hang out in their kitchen. :)

Body, health, peace of mind, and active living are areas of my life that I wish to improve. I feel myself being socialized in a way that does not represent my best self, and I am fascinated by new philosophies and ways of life. I run a women's health and empowerment blog at www.asmellygirl.com

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Basically everything except horror films. I often see a horror film, go home, and convince myself that my doom is imminent.

Music: I'm from Texas, originally, so country music holds a soft spot in my heart. Other than that, I'm pretty eclectic and currently enjoy the "Sad Brad Smith" channel on my Pandora account.

Books: Biographies! I love learning about another's life. Self-help books--books that are teaching me a skill, art and photography books.

And the internet. The internet is on my list of the Top Five Things I Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time I realize just how much I still have ahead of me to learn, I am amazed. :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a certified stage combatant in rapier, dagger, double-hand, unarmed, and quarterstaff and would absolutely love to teach you and your friends how to make it look as if you're pummeling each other. It's hilarious to see something that looks violent and just is not at all. :) I'm proficient in dialect and accent work--RP, cockney, irish, french, german, spanish, an scottish, so if you feel like picking up a few extra tricks, I've got some great ones to share!
