Overview
About Me
My passion is art, I really like drawing and painting. One of the main things I like to do on a trip is sketching and taking photos. I'm fond of old architecture, churches and museums.
I play the harp a little.
I was born and lived in France as child, but my family moved to London when I was a teen.
Despite my family name, I do not speak a word of Polish. My great-grandpa left Poland while his town was still part of Austria-Hungary, so you can see it was long enough ago for the language to get lost on the way to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my best friend used couch surfing during her last trip. She talked about how good her experiences were and how touched she was by the connections she made. Since I'm planning a train and bus trip this October, I decided to give it a shot.
I'm not very well travelled but I would like to fix that, starting first by seeing more of Europe.
Sadly, I'm unable to host anyone due to my room mates but I would be happy to show London around to someone.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am quite fond of movie musicals, like The Gay Divorcee, Singing in the Rain, or Om Shanti Om.
Fantasy is genre I like as well, so I like Lord of the Rings, Princess Mononoke, Princess Bride, etc..
Music wise, I have a soft post for folk music like The Corries and for 70s/80s rock (due to my dad...).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Time to time, I paint on the windows of shops and pubs. For Christmas or sporting events, for example.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you practice French or English, and teach you slangs.
I'm also quite good at drawing, so I could always attempt to draw you a portrait or anything really.
