About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To drive 10,000 KM in a USA honey-moon-road-trip

ABOUT US

So who are we?
We are Almog - a tall guy with a curly hair and big glasses and Noga - a small blond girl with big glasses.
We are 28 years old, Almog is a psycholinguistic PhD student, in Beer Sheva, and Noga is trying to figure out what she wanna be when she'll grow up. In the meanwhile she writes her blog.

We love to travel and to meet CSers all over the world, we did it five years ago in a seven month eurotrip, and we did it 3 years ago in Scandinavia. We had some amazing memories and friends for life from does trips.
Last year we lived abroad as Almog had his MA in San- Sebastian and Noga did erasmus in Padova.

We recently got married, YAY! and now we are going on a honeymoon in the US! our plan is to start in Boston, then to get officially married in New York, then to buy a car and hit the road all the way to the west coast through the southern states. Our journey will come to an end in San Francisco after 3 month of good ol' US of A roadtrip. Our rout is not planned out to details and we love to take the sideways and find new adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy of travel is basically to meet you, the local people and other travelers, and hear from you pieces of advice for what we should see and visit. We don't carry any guidebooks, our bags are heavy enough without them, thank you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, we have been hosting while we lived in Tel Aviv five years ago, then we started our big euro-trip and been hosted by dozens of great and interesting people all over the continent. We moved to Beer Sheva and hosted some more and three years ago we traveled all over Scandinavia from one couch to another. In many places our hosts were the reason we connected to a certain place and we found out that sometimes the CS experience tops any other experience the city can offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting, meeting people and lots of people. This is the main thing about CS isn't it? Just experiencing new cultures and other ways of life, even if it's not that different from how you do things back home
