ABOUT ME

My name is Amber Crago, and I am a life-long learner. I love to try new things (last year I competed in a triathlon) and learn from people around me. I have a strong sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life, which carries me far. LOVE the arts. I'm a live painter in Honolulu, and write and perform a lot of original music, sung and played on the guitar and piano. Massage therapy is my main job, though I've taught windsurfing and been a bi-lingual kayak guide in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii. Hiking, mountain biking, surfing, scuba-diving, COOKING, eating :D, traveling, backpacking, and aaah, the list goes on.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is all about choices, and understanding the power of manifestation! Find balance in yourself, and a strong connection with the Universe, the Divine, God, whatever you call it. Learn to make your dreams real!! Tomorrow's just a dream away, tomorrow's just a dream anyway.

Though I just joined, I feel I will add alot to networking people in this community. Hawaii is a huge place for couch surfers, so I'd like to help people connect :D

Couch surfed in Tokyo and couldn't believe how nice my host was!

Haven't watched/owned a tv in years...movies aren't far behind. I loved Fight Club, that was the most recent great movie I saw. Books, Herman Heisse (sp?), Shantaram, Skinny Legs and All, The Four Agreements, Seat of the Soul, Hands of Light.

Hiked Mauna Loa mountain on Big Island, Hawaii. 4 days and 50 miles, it was incredible and grueling. Photographed lava so close I worried my camera would melt. Scuba dove to 130ft off the coast of Kona. Did a night dive. Dropped in on an 8ft face wave (4ft hawaiian).
Can't wait to go skydiving!
