ABOUT ME

I have had a challenging life, but I pride myself in being able to take the best from each challenge I face.

I have a good sense of humor. I feel comfortable meeting new people. I try to understand how people see the world and why we see the same thing with different perspectives.

I studied engineering and worked as a programmer for several years, and I shared half of my life with a wonderful woman. However, I eventually decided that I wanted to develop my life in a different direction, so I moved to Ireland where I lived for four years and started a journey of self discovery.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted six couchsurfers already. The experience has been as varied as rewarding. It feels like couchsurfers are special people that can bring light into your life in quite different and interesting ways.

I have also attended some CS meetings in Madrid, which I enjoyed a lot.

Interessi

Self development. I learn how to be a better human being every day (OK, some weekends I take a break).

Philosophy, cats, the sea, stories, letting the conversation slip into the wee wee hours, libraries, seasons, romance, connection, monsters, memories, storms, dreams. Love.

Ancient history and prehistory. Formula 1. PUA.

I love words and writing. I write mainly for myself (a kind of journal), and find a lot of pleasure in finding the combination of words that will bring a picture of the storm in my head onto a piece of paper.

I volunteered as a supporter for a young Polish man suffering from cancer and we eventually became great friends.
