About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I strive for world peace yo.
ABOUT ME
I love music and dance and study art. I'm curious about lots of things, and crave adventures. Backpacking and hiking and urban explorations are some of my loves, along with tasty food and beverage, lazy rainy days and my favorite smell is a camp fire. I do study and work a lot during the school year, so sometimes when I'm free it's just about unwinding with a dance and a drink or some deep dish and a movie marathon. When I have a little extra time I like to go to rock shows or rockclimb.
PHILOSOPHY
All you need is love...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to help somebody see some of the underbelly of Champaign, new students in town or somebody passing through. There are some beautiful things here, and a little drive and the countryside of miles and miles of corn and a beautiful sunset is something that should not be missed!
I have an apartment downtown but have two roommates that may or may not be cool with an upstairs overtaking, though it has been done! I do love meeting new people though and would enjoy to help orient somebody to the C-U area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used to be in scouting as a teenager (venture scouts, co-ed adventure club) and we would stay with connections up in Chicago on urban adventures and in churches and pitch tents in strange places (or sleep under the stars) and I had a blast every time! One couple that hosted us in the city made, seriously, like the most rocking breakfast for us all and I will always remember how kinship that felt (so I'm happy to help somebody else on their adventure too!)

Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd, trip hop, salsa, anything dance-able
Donnie Darko, Ghost World,
I'm reading Arundhati Roy's first novel right now, but I love classics, some journalistic works and post-modern American Lit (and poetry! like Langston Hughes and T.S. Elliot)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
life
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bring somebody out dancing, make a collaborative work of art or wall climbing or build a fire and play some music outside.
I've always wanted to sky dive, or go sailing and have yet to try these (I'm sure there are more but really, just ask me and I'm all for trying everything once)
