ABOUT ME

I work a lot. I volunteer at museums for fun and to purge my soul of the horrors of working retail. I am an art/art history nerd. I love anything ocean related. I have rats, and I love them; they are mah poopsies. I have a pretty harsh and sarcastic sense of humor, but I try not to offend people. I love being silly, and cutting my hair. I do that a lot. Good conversation over a beer is one of my favorite things.

I am just starting this. I am always down for hanging out, but I don't have a place for people to crash as of now.

Movies: Anything by David Lynch or Kurosawa, Run Lola Run, In Bruges, Leon, Spirited Away, Amelie...pretty much anything ranging from feel-good to unbearably uncomfortable.

Music: Massive Attack, Portishead, Dead Can Dance, Bjork, Sigur Ros, Tom Waits...things of epic proportions. I like weird noises.

Books: Harry Potter (back up off), The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Master and Margarita, The Little Prince, His Dark Materials, The Stranger, The English Patient, Lolita, I'll read anything that has something interesting to say.
