Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I bought a house in Vallejo, CA during the pandemic and though it has a rough reputation it’s beautiful and has heart, I’d love to share it with you
Im planning to Couchsurf Spain and Portugal in April

HOW I PARTICIPATED IN Couch Surfing before the app was created

I have always camped or did homestays when I traveled. I have been so lucky to always meet wonderful people with big hearts.
since Airbnb, I haven’t couchsurfed, but I’m looking for more connection when I travel, so I’ve come back to see what’s happening in the couchsurfing world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live abroad & paraglide in the foothills of the Andes Mountains
Climb Volcan Pacaya in Guatemala and cook s'mores on a lava flow (Its HOT!) that was 2007, so many more since than! Let’s exchange travel stories!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone to read, do yoga, stand up paddle, and surf
I’m always learning more Spanish and Portuguese.
I love to share travel stories

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have stayed at 33 different airbnbs since 2015 and have 28 positive reviews, the other 5 just didn’t leave reviews.
I have traveled solo since my first trip at 17 to Washington, D.C. and first trip abroad in 2007 to Antigua, Guatemala. Traveling solo is the best way to truly get to know a place and the people who live there. Sightseeing is great but what is truly life changing is the personal connections I’ve made along the way.

Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, United States
