ABOUT ME

Hey my name is Althea and I'm currently on a bit of a vacation throughout the southeast. I work with a collective arts and education group based out of Maine but I am on a brief hiatus to catch some vitamin D in the winter months. I like to cook and share food. I do work with Food Not Bombs and a lot of similar groups which has taught me the art of lentils and making something out of nothing (I promise I don't just make hippy slop). My favorite modes of transport are by foot, bike, or boat, but when I am at home I also have a pick up truck named Dianne who's good too. I come from a farming family so if you are curious about vegetable facts, I got you. I like listening to people and hearing their longest stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had an account on couchsurfing for awhile but have never really gotten the chance to use it so sorry I don't have any verification things. I'm excited to start as a way of meeting folks I would not meet otherwise.
