ABOUT ME

Wan born in US and raised in Istanbul. Since Feb 2009, started a new life in sunny San Diego and then moved to Carlsbad after changing jobs - along the way got married and became a father! Loving my life but of course it kind of limits my Couchsurfing life since we no longer able to host anybody but will try to meet some visitors as much as possible to keep the spirit up!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use CS for exchanging information and helping others as much as possible. Used to attend meetings and events as my schedule let me to socialize and be a bigger part of San Diego CS community. I don't have time or energy to go to those events or host anymore since I got married and became a proud father and lemme tell you my son is more than handful!! But still try to engage via the website and maybe soon I can get back to the CS scene...

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Trainspotting, Snatch, Lock stock two smoking barrels, Mean machine, Fight club, Se7en, Life is beautiful, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a dream, LOTR, Matrix, Scream, Memento, Machinist, Animations (mostly anything from Miyazaki, Dreamworks or Pixar) list goes on and on...
Music: most likely a bit of everything except country and rap(no offense i just don't enjoy these genres as much)
Food: Turkish, Mediterranian, Asian, Mexican
TV Shows: True Blood, How i met your mother, two and a half man, entourage, skins (british one), 30 rock, community, fringe, lost, modern family, flash forward, desperate housewives, arrested development, freaks and geeks, coupling(again british version),billions, GOT,so many more that i cannot remember but i do like quite a few of them...

moving to San Diego was the most amazing thing i ever accomplished and i am enjoying every second of my life here now.
