Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i see cs first as a tool to help people and, after that, to get in touch with others. i do not write big novels about my "mission" and why i "love the cs community", i do not smile on every picture, because there are also sad days and that's o.k., as long there are more happy days. i also have to admit that i really dislike hotels and hostels, because they are cold and empty. especially when you're travelling alone. that's why i prefer to use cs (i host and surf also outside the cs-network). it's always nice to have someone around and get input, but i'm not the person who spends the whole day with my host/guest. but i'm open for every question, a common meal and other stuff, when i have time. and there is always time to say something about my city or help, if help is needed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

people are so different. but that's okay. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

at the moment it's difficult, because i'm now hosting friends from vienna who can't find an own flat, but i will refresh this, when it changes. i try to offer a good home with a comfortable bed, bed sheets, towels, etc. you can use almost everything like the washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, etc. i usally don't have much time, so walking around with you in the city is rarely possible, but i always can suggest something or help you. i love cooking and wastecooking, so a common dinner is very fine.
