ABOUT ME

We're a couple from Leeuwarden. We're living together with our dog.\
Atm Jolanda is doing a 5 month internship in Poland... I'm soo lonely... ;-)
Jolanda is studying Animal Mangement. It should've been called Nature Management since it involves a whole lot more that 'just' animals. It's a study concerning everywhere nature and man come together.
Alvar is teaching classes in personal development area's and software related classes. Also he recently started an online coaching business

PHILOSOPHY

Alvar: Be the change you want to see in the world. Develop yourself, help/accommodate others developing themselves. Be kind. Have integrity.

Jolanda: will answer when she's back from Poland. But in general, she's an amazing person!~

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None atm, but I (Alvar) have heard many stories from my brother who's been surfing all over Europe.

兴趣

Alvar: psychology, philosophy, health, social sciences. How do people and how does society work? How can we make it more inclusive (better).The peace and quiet of nature. The opportunity to test yourself in nature.

Jolanda: nature and everything concerning it, making a real connection to the world and the people in it. Living life in a happy state of mind. Photography. Birdwatching. Hiking.

Here we tend to think alike more than not. We both read epic fantasy for relaxation. We watch quite a few movies and series, but no TV (downloading everything...all legal ofc.)
To give a general idea: we both saw half of the imdb top 250, including the Japanese classics:). We like intelligent movies that make you think and action packed blockbusters to drift away in emotional roller coasters be it a general feeling of awesomeness or feeling totally loving and bliss.
Top series to us are: House, Stargate Universe, The Big Bang Theory, Bleach, true blood, two and a half men, The Wire.
Jolanda is a big fan of female vocalists and Alvar listens a lot to classical; music (mostly Baroque) and minimal house.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Jolanda: having an Oehoe (big owl) sitting on my arm. Seeing wild real wolves in Poland.

Alvar: every time one of my clients reaches that moment of insight that changes their perspective on themselves or the world. Jolanda.
