ABOUT ME

We are a happy couple, we've been together for three years now.:) I'm a curious girl who is always smiling, always willing to try new things, like to dream,and can be really sensitive sometimes(Like I might break into tears if I watch a sad movie...lol). Alvin , on the other hand, is also an easy-going and kind person. However, he's more rational than I, and he is smart and humorous! Apart from these, we have a lot in common,too: we are both easy-going and open-minded people, and we both enjoy traveling, meeting new people and sharing our stories with others.We enjoy indoor activities such as watching TV and just hanging around as well as outdoor activities or sports. I(Charlotte) am majoring in Politics in the university while Alvin is a medical student. Oh, and our dream is to make the world a better place somehow!:)

Cuz we love traveling a lot, and we've both taken Spanish in the university before, we've been dreaming to go on a trip to Europe, including Spain, for almost three years now! So the coming up trip in the summer vacation this year is going to make our first dream come true.:) We are very very looking forward to this adventure-----and this will be just the beginning!Cuz there are so many other places where we want to go and pay a visit to!:D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'd like to try couch surfing because we both think it's the best way to experience and enjoy the local life, and we always embrace different cultures.:) As for hosting, because I'm(Charlotte)still living with my family,so I won't be able to host, but I would love to take you guys out and take a look at the city, and I can also recommend you a few places to visit if I'm free at that time.:) As for Alvin, he is renting a room in an apartment, but because of his room size(which is super tiny)and his busy life style(he's a medical student now, so he has little time on weekdays, and he works part-time on weekends)so he probably won't be able to host recently. However, he'd love to show others around Taipei if he has time(just like me)!And we definitely would like to host if we have our own house(or at least the rented room is big enough lol) one day!:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've always wanted to try couch surfing for a long time. But we mainly traveled with a group of friends or with our family before, so this will be our first time doing couch surfing.:) However, we did have some "informal" couch surfing experience before, if couch surfing at friends' house counts;).(and the experiences are all fun and we enjoyed them a lot, indeed!:D)

Interests

My(Charlotte) biggest interest will be TRAVELING! Aside from this, I also enjoy listening to music, reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends, shopping, and doing some outdoor activities! For example, I enjoyed a lot when I traveled to Palau and went surfing and fishing there!:)I would say that I have so many interests that I can always find something interesting to do !:)

As for Alvin, his biggest interest is to STUDY!As you know, he's a medical student and he leads quite a boring life....:S haha just kidding! Alvin likes to TRAVEL a lot, too!He also likes to play the guitar, to have a few drinks, to hang out with friends, and he also enjoys watching movies, or doing some sports such as tennis!Besides, he also loves singing a lot!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I(Charlotte)like listening to Taiwanese pop music and Japanese pop music, and I also listen to some French songs since I'm learning French at the time.Besides, because I have learned the piano for quite a few years since I was little,also a little bit of violin and viola.So I do enjoy classical music. As for Alvin, he listens to all kinds of pop music!However, We're both always willing to try to listen to different kinds of music!:)

Movies:
We like watching all kinds of music except the horror ones and ghost movies. We sometimes even watch cartoons, Disneys and animes! :)

Books:
I(Charlotte)read every genre of books, but my favorite will be reading novels!Besides, I also like to read some poems,too:) But I also love reading books such as Harry Potter haha!
