I love to learn...about anything and everything. I get tickled because some of the things I learn, I have to admit seem like worthless pieces of trivia. What amazes me is how God places me in situations with people that, unbelievably, need and can use that bit of trivia (or a least I thought it was) and be blessed by it. Go figure....so that tells me that there is a reason behind EVERYTHING!

My youngest daughter suggested it after she had a wonderful experience in Europe. After investigating it and seeing the concept and motivation behind it, I really liked the idea....and it is very cost effective.

Intereses

I am a story teller and a writer. I love to make knowledge interesting and intriguing for others and story telling has been that vehicle.
I have been able to use my love to teach in several fields.
I still tell my children that I'm not sure what I will be when I grow up and have had a ball across the whole spectrum of careers. I have been a Quality Consultant, a computer programmer, a stay-at-home mom, a neurobio feedback tech, a Homebound teacher, a voice over actor, a model, a Biblical Life Coach, a piano instructor, and a nanny. Now I walk alongside 1st-5th Grade students on their educational journeys helping them fill the gaps that hinder them from being on grade level. I wonder what I will be doing next?

Música, películas y libros

I love music...all kinds, Jazz,R&B, Country, Brazilian, Classical Guitar, French...you name it and I probably have that genre in my playlist. I am pleasantly surprised when I shuffle my music because of the variety.

I love to read although I haven't read as much lately...I think it's the season of my life... time to pour into others more and more.

I like movies...but I like to interact with other people about them after the movie is over.

I became a voice over actor by sending a demo reel that I created myself in the basement of my graduate school library's very old recording studio. On top of that I used homework assignments from my classes as my scripts and had absolutely no idea what I was doing...but it worked!!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

It is so amazing how even a relationship created in a 30 second span of time can enrich a person. I've seen it happen in my classroom so I know that spending time with other people in their homes can be so enlightening for me as well as my host.
I am sure that I will gain from this experience and I am in the hopes that it will be a mutually rewarding experience for my host.
