ABOUT ME

Calmness is one of my easy-to-notice characteristics. I'm very relaxed & easy-going and i can get very enthusiastic when meeting interesting people or exploring something new. I appreciate details and small everyday-life-things a lot. Sense of humor is also important for me, since it can really make me connect to people. My friends might as well say i'm funny.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I apologise in advance if i don't reply within 2 days and in that case it's due to being so busy i can't be oline or host. But if you think we'd match you should definitely give the couchrequest a go.

As a host don't expect me to tour you all around, because i have a life and that includes working hours. In my point of view being independant also comes with being a surfer, and i'll help you with all the city advice you need for that. But most of all CS is about sharing and for sure i'll have some free time to share a meal, a beer or take you to some of my favorite places in Ams. I also count on you to keep the space tidy after you use it (don't get ofended if this is obvious for you - it's just that it isn't so for everybody).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Backpacking around Europe and being a CS surfer was a life-changing event for me to which i am profoundly grateful for. I'll keep surfing whenever i'll have the opportunity - it is one of the best experiences ever.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Meeting an old friend i wasn't seeing for a long time and go travel with him. Learning how to cook my own bread. Cooking pancakes for everyone's breakfast and have it in the sunny garden. Go for a motorbike ride for the first time in my life. Getting inspired by my hosts while sighseeing a beautiful new city. Trying new types of beers and Jenevers. Building art installations in the living room to surprise the host the next morning, with the partnership of his flatmate. Sleeping under stars. Make a music with my old friend out of all this and sending it to our hosts as an aftertrip present.

All of this happened in Ghent, in July 2012.
