About Me
Hi, I am Alex!
I love being active, exploring cultures, food and meeting new people. Whenever I am not on a bike, I am probably spending time with my friends and family or at the university.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s the best way to really experience a country and a culture!
On my travels, I met amazing people who introduced me to their lives and their home. Every conversation helped me to keep my mind open and taught me new views, which I am grateful to take back my daily life.
Even after a few years of travelling and using CS, these stays are often the stories that made my travels special - not „just“ the cities or places where I was with them.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as books are concerned, I liked the alchemist (Paulo Coelho) and 1984 (George Orwell) very much, yet I recently discovered Ted Chiang for some fiction and love to read stuff on inspiring women.
I rarely watch movies, but if I had to name a few, it would be Harry Potter and Breakfast at Tiffanys or Pretty Women as my go to favs (happy if you have some recommendations!!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling from Athens across the Alps to Germany on a citybike
Teach, Learn, Share
I am super curious about learning pretty much everything and sharing what I have with me (even when it's just some veggies, my help and/ or a good story).
When hosting I can add a super comfortable sofa to that short list!
What I Can Share with Hosts
(Hopefully) funny, interesting and good stories, helping hands, whatever I might have in my backpack, some
experiences and my views on things :-)
