ABOUT ME

I am a small town girl who decided to see the world and took the first step by studying abroad this year. It's been more than I'd hoped for! I'm told I'm quite easygoing and get along with anyone and everyone. I adore animals, live music, poetry, white chocolate, and anything remotely related to the 1960s. I am a vegetarian, a feminist, and quite liberal, but never judgmental!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am entirely new to Couchsurfing, but hope to participate as much as possible now that I've come across it. I have been fortunate enough to have made connections while in Europe, have been welcomed into a few homes, and have made lasting friendships. One of my favorite parts of travel is the people I meet along the way... and I hope to meet and be met by others who feel the same!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of the most surprising discoveries I've made in England has been the quickness of new acquaintances to invite me into their homes to avoid extra accommodation costs and allow me a chance to see the "authentic" side of whatever city I am visiting. A street musician whom a friend and I met in Canterbury allowed us to stay at his place in Liverpool for a few days, a friend of a friend made us feel more than welcome when we were unable to find an open room in Dublin, and other offers are still on the table. People are wonderful, and I'd like others to believe that while traveling, too.
