I am currently on the other side of the world... so won't be able to host anyone in the flatlands, sorry guys!
All about me won't fit in this box ;-) I like to think, laugh and have good talks. People find me funny, optimistic, open minded, analystic and a bit crazy. I'm more on the road than at home.. and I try to do as many things as possible and be happily ever after.
Take responsibility - for yourself, for the animals and the planet. Don't just be happy, become happier!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Depending on my plans, you might stay at my place or we could have dinner or a soy latte or soy frap somewhere downtown. We could go out dancing or just make a truely Dutch splitpea soup or vegan brunch.
I haven't surfed yet but I have hosted a few times. It's always a good experience to share the otherwise useless couch with a fellow world wanderer. I would love to go couchsurfing myself in the nearby future!
I love nature and good food, hiking and biking, being with friends and meeting people, traveling and trains, playing board games or Werewolf, beers and cocktails, salads and bbqs, soy lattes and ice tea, reading and writing, dancing and being a litle crazy! And I love my 2 cats, Krypton & Silver :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I love cookbooks and own a lot of them :-) Most of them are English and you are welcome to try some recipes during your stay here. I read at least one book per week, couldn't sleep without it. I'm not so much into movies but I like good (psychological) thrillers. If you play cello or violin you're very welcome at my place, because I'd like to learn it. So far I only play the piano once in a while since I don't own one. I love gipsy world music, folk, rock, alternative and female voices.. I like going crazy at a concert :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking through the Lake District, England, with just a small bag with some clothes, water and food. Waking up at a bed & breakfast, enjoying a good full (vegetarian! :)) English and then just walk for the day, getting lost, wandering through the wild, not sure yet where you'll be ending up and just feeling so peaceful. It was awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
As a vegan BBQ master I can teach you all about that... ;-) maybe you can teach me some Esperanto? That is my current project. I want to learn many more languages though. So I can teach you some cooking, some Dutch/German/whatever, share some crazy psychological theories with you or draw you all chemicals that your shampoo contains. And I can teach you how to play fluxx, which is the best game in the world. Eager to play new games any time.
