I'm an American from Louisiana living and working in Rennes, France. I love traveling and exploring and learning about other cultures. One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my friends over a pint of beer and talk. I also love learning idioms and would love to learn some in languages other than English or French.

I am currently planning a Christmas holiday trip through Wroclaw, Krakow, Budapest, Bratislava, Prague, all over Germany, and ending in Amsterdam with two of my friends also living in Rennes.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a tough one, but my favorite music typically falls in the indie, alternative, rock genres. I can never pick a favorite book, but I am currently reading the Farseer Triology by Robin Hobbs. I like movies, but I typically tend to watch TV shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2012, I took a road trip through the UK starting in Edinburgh and ending in Brighton. It was over a week and we slept in the car with the stars and nature to keep us company. Though I didn't get to shower for over a week, it was one of the most beautiful and surreal experiences I have ever had, and after six months in France, it was lovely to speak English again.

I love to learn and share, and I'm currently an English teacher, so I can offer you lots of different fun games... surprisingly, a lot of ESL games can also be drinking games.
