ABOUT ME
My name is Alysha and I am from Seattle, WA, though I grew up in Nebraska. I can't define myself into one word, and actually prefer other types of communication to verbal. Anyway, I like lots of things and am always interested in meeting new people, Oh. I'm also very easy-go-lucky, and rarely make plans ahead of time, so I like to think of myself as very accepting of what life has in store...
PHILOSOPHY
If there's a will, there's a way, and remaining true to the things you believe in are really important, but that also means one needs to take the time to figure out WHAT he believes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I actually just surf, since I am living with a host family in Berlin for the time being.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only couchsurfed one time, and I was sick, so I don't think it was very fun for either of us.. but I still think it's an interesting concept and means you probably have to be open-minded in order to open up your house to strangers. I want to keep travelling this way and maybe when I get back to the states I can open up my home, too.
Interests
Cooking! music, reading, art, travelling, experiencing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Bluest Eye, Clan of the Cave Bear, Everything is Illuminated, 100 Years of Solitude. I also really like folk and rock, classical and so on, but lately finding myself into more darkly orchestrated music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Still waiting, though I've probably been overlooking these amazing things my whole life..
Teach, Learn, Share
I honestly don't have much to teach, and I'm more than betting that anything I know is something EVERYBODY else knows or has already experienced, but if I HAD to give advice I would say do what is good for you, do what makes you happy, but healthy. Happiness, at least a state of contentment shouldn't be an illusion, face whatever there is on the backburner and go on.
OH, I can teach you how to make really, really good scrambled eggs.
