ABOUT ME

So I have lived abroad for 20 years and recently moved back to America. We have welcomed coachsurfers wherever we have gone and will continue. We love sharing with travelers open to new experiences.

I don't do as much traveling as I'd like to anymore with a busy job and kids, so I figure, if I can't go out and travel, I'll just have to invite travel in. I'm a good listener and enjoy a good story.

Please note that I do not accept single men alone. Only couples or women.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few times while in tanzania and Swaziland. Now I live on the outskirts of dc so I'm not sure who would want to come here, but my door is open. I am not walking distance to a metro stop. You would need to take an uber to the metro or I am happy to Give you a ride at 8 am.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies along the theme of 'inner city class meets well meaning teacher who is challenged by the hardship of their lives, but continues to help them anyway on a journey of self discovery and ends up forming a deep and unexpected connection to the students.' You can never have too many movies of this theme. Books-- yes, I do like them-- although I hear they are going out of vogue. When traveling I sometimes use pages for toilet paper (a free little CS tip there for ya).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, perhaps not the answer one was looking for, but the most amazing thing I've ever done was without a doubt, having a baby. Two to be exact. I did that. Yep. Awesome, awesome experience both times.
