Alyssa Clenuar, a freelance marketer / oftentimes a writer / occasional photographer / Hip-Hop dancer / consultant / Filipina raised in the Philippines, is considered to be an adventurous, passionate, and a hardworking person.

When Alyssa was young, she dreamt about being a doctor growing up. That changed when her mother enrolled her to ballet and piano that she found her niche in arts. Not long after that, she transitioned to Hip-Hop taking classes after another and met new friends from the same circle. She joined local competitions – won some, others lost.

When life asked her to grow up, she found another interesting niche in arts which was writing. She decided that she is going to be a writer so she applied in a local paper called SunStar Cagayan de Oro as a news reporter. Her main beat was hard news ranging from local to national politics. She enjoyed everything about it except that the media world doesn’t exactly looks promising when it comes to its pay.

Life struck and was hard on her. She knew she had to make a choice so she joined a self-publishing company in Cebu City as a Publishing Services Associate. It was fun at first but eventually, it was becoming a routine. As a 25-year old woman, she knew there was something more to it and this wasn’t just her cup of tea.

This time, she wanted a challenge and a thirst for adventure. Happily, her side gig called freelancing became her full-time job. Nothing beats to be able to move around and the flexibility of time it could offer.

Now she is looking to meet new people and experience new cultures across the globe. She was never given a chance to go out of the country until now so Alyssa is going to grab every opportunity it will come to her and chase her dreams!
