Overview
About Me
I'm outgoing, adventurous and fun-loving individual. Hi there! As a second year student at the University of Ottawa, I am currently taking a semester off from my pursuit of my Bachelor’s degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights in order to explore my charitable passion further my travelling abroad. Needing this time off to reignite my motivation to work in the humanities when the world is filled with such disheartening atrocities. The depth and clarity that my studies have forced me to open up my eyes; it is hard to not be affected by such an abundance of world issues, whether it be human rights related or environnemental, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like any other student, I want to ditch my responsibilities and travel the world, one couch at a time.
I am planning a trip to South East Asia come this May and I would love to meet some new genuine people abroad, and I feel that Couchsurfing is the best way to do that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I represented Canada on the National Karate team at Worlds in Spain 2006 , coming home with silver in my continuous sparring division.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to believe that we all have something to learn from each other, and that each individual brings something unique and useful to the table. Teach me a new language, teach me what you're passionate about, because I am more than willing to take this opportunity to learn!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I also like to believe that my life is a series of unfortunate events, that make some pretty funny stories later on! There is plenty to learn from this train wreck I call my life :)
I am ready to help out with chores, cooking, and whatever else you might need a hand with while I'm there!
