About Me
Hi 👋
From the US, I'm still fairly new to Vietnam and I'd love to chat with locals, travelers passing through, and expats.
Let's share conversation over a couple coffees or beers.
(hint: I've traveled to 14 countries and lived in 3. Let me tell you about when I stumbled into a techno concert in downtown Brussels, stayed with a family that didn't speak English in a rural Romanian village, published underwater research in the Dominican Republic or when I went to a cyber security conference in Budapest at their national football stadium.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an avid Airbnb user but I want to have more of a cultural experience with a host. Share ideas, tell stories, and inspire one another to continue to spread good vibes and travel as often as possible.

Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH me what your culture values most. Help me understand the truth behind any preconceived notions of where you're living. Give me some insight into what you've learned from your travel revelations.
I hope you LEARN from me how to improve your English or how to travel solo or how to trust your gut. More likely, I hope to make you laugh or smile.
Let's SHARE our best adventures and our pitfalls. I'm an open book, let's talk about values or politics or fears.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Although it may not be much, I can offer hosts great company, a helping hand whether that is doing dishes, laundry, cleaning, running errands, or caring for a pet.
I'd love to take my host out for a meal to show appreciation for the hospitality.
