Hello! I'm an EFL teacher and foreign language-lover in France for the moment. I figure the best way of learning a new language is to live in a country where it's spoken, and this idea has brought me to South Korea and France so far.

If life were long enough, I would love to live in every region of every country so I could fully immerse myself in all of the world's cultures...

I find that the next best thing is to meet and connect with locals while traveling. It's is a way to deepen the experience and to gain as much knowledge as I can from the people who are excited to share their way of life!

I'm new to Couchsurfing, but I have stayed with host families before and absolutely loved it. I find it to be a great way to connect with new people who are interested in sharing their culture, language, experiences, and stories.
