ABOUT ME

I'm Alyssa and my favorite hobby is exploring. I love whitewater and skiing. I love to meet new people and laughing with them; I can get pretty silly sometimes. I work at a private ski club year-round and I'm currently attending nursing school at MSU. I live in Big Sky, MT with my boyfriend Tony, and I am still amazed every day how beautiful it is.

I hike because it makes me feel good, and I love bodies of water. I also love to write.

My dog, Mambo, is the second love of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once! How do you know what your favorite candy bar is, if you haven't tried every type? Try things even if you think you'll hate it, you may be surprised.

I Couchsurfed around the Bay Area a couple years ago, and I had a blast! I have also hosted before and made so many new friends.

Musica, film e libri

I could sit here for hours listing bands I'm in love with, so I'll just name some genres I really enjoy. Indie has a special place in my heart, as does rock, alternative, jazz, hip hop, reggae, rap, and so many more. Some authors I enjoy reading are Kurt Vonnegut, Stephen King, Herman Hesse, J.K. Rowling, Margaret Atwood, Barbara Kingsolver.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

The most amazing thing I have done so far is move to Montana to live near my boyfriend who I had only know for two weeks at the time. I gave up my whole life in New Hampshire to start something new. It just felt right!

I consider myself quite crafty. I can freehand sew, crochet, tie-dye, scrapbook, and much more. I can also tell a good story.
