CURRENT MISSION

My mission right now is to travel as much as I can and learn about new people and places.

ABOUT ME

I was born in El Paso, but I have spent most of my life in the Dallas area. When I was about seven years old I moved to Pennsylvania for five years. I moved back to Dallas after those five years (homesick parents I guess). I went to eight different elementary and jr high schools, and I think that has a lot to do with the person that I am now. I really like the High School I ended up attending. I had an awesome experience there. One of the my most precious experiences there was the Orchestra there. I have played the Violin for about twelve years now (it's crazy that's more than HALF of my life now!). I play with the Symphony at my University now. I am minoring in music at UNM and I'm majoring in Interpersonal Communication. I'm at USC in Los Angels (GO Trojans!) finishing my master's degree in Occupational Therapy. I enjoy traveling especially flying! My Dad works for an airline and I've been able to fly standby for free in the U.S. my entire life. It's an amazing blessing. I can't wait to see where else my life takes me.

PHILOSOPHY

It's always changing. Not to say that I'm a fickle person, but I do my best to stay open minded to all variations of 'Personal Philosophies' (not necessarily to incorporate them into my own but to better understand them and respect them). I am definitely a family oriented person and I like to focus on the relationships in my life above anything else. But I am still a goal driven person, and I put a lot of emphasis on achievements.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have friends that have turned me on to couch surfing and I can't wait to get started. I haven't really had the chance to do much yet, but I'm most definitely looking forward to it.
