Stuff My Eyes With Wonder
ABOUT ME
I grew up in the Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States, though I'm still not old enough to be part of the nightlife on the strip.
I love meeting new people and sharing new experiences, and learning from them. The culture and history of the places I visit are the most important things to learn about, and I plan to!
I'm a vegetarian, and English Literature major/gender studies minor at my university, hoping to join the Peace Corps upon graduation and later get a credential to become a teacher, or work at a publishing company, or a social justice/non-profit organization. I haven't got it quite figured out, but that's the best part of life! I love learning about different cultures and participating where I can.
âThere are some days when I think Iâm going to die from an overdose of satisfaction.â - Salvador Dali
PHILOSOPHY
"Take a shower and shine your shoes, you got no time to lose, you are young and you must be living" - Dispatch, "The General"
âAnd in the end, itâs not the years in your life that count. Itâs the life in your years.â - Abraham Lincoln
Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've just joined. I'm out of the country to study abroad with my University, but as soon as I can host, I plan to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed 3 nights in Paris with a wonderful host, and it has been one of the best experiences I've ever had! It was on my way to Florence for 4 months, and I had far too much luggage because of it, but I am excited to experience couchsurfing with a backpack. :)

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
It's hard to put a cross-country road trip on the "places I've been" list, but last summer, 2010, I flew to South Carolina with two other friends to visit a friend of ours who lives there. We spent a week there, and proceeded to drive her car back to San Diego for the beginning of the new school year. We saw North Carolina, Tenessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, visited my friend Staci (CS name StaciD) in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and finally made it back to Vegas for a couple days before school started. My friend bought a banjo in Nashville to replace her broken guitar, and promptly began learning. I have a harmonica I'm going to learn once I find a book.
It was an eventful couple weeks, and something every teen on either side of the country talks about doing once they can drive. I never thought I'd be able to say I did it! :)
Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe
I'm still learning and don't yet know what exactly I can teach, but my passion is literature.
I would love to learn the history of the places I visit, from those that experience it everyday.
