ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a college student from America currently studying aboard in Roma, Italy. I absolutely love it here; I think the Italian people are some of the nicest people I have met. Plans for the near future: This summer I am planning a backpacking trip with a friend throughout Europe.

A little background: I grew up in the Southwestern United States. It's a desert region at the base of the Rocky Mountains. I love the desert; I love the sun; I love the heat. My family is a big part of my life. I love them and miss them, but I know they all support the adventure that I am currently on.

I moved to the Pacific Northwest to go to university and play soccer. I am a Biology major and intend to continue studying in the health sciences field at some point after I graduate. However, before going back to school, I would love to travel...if I could manage such a dream. Currently in Rome, I am studying Art; I absolutely love art and art history, though I am very much a novice in the field.

I've done a bit of travelling in my life: various states across the US; Vancouver, Canada; parts of the Caribbean; London; Paris; parts of Switzerland; Granada, Spain; Tunisia; and parts of Italy. I want to see more of the world and it is definitely a goal of mine to travel throughout my lifetime.

PHILOSOPHY

My goal in life has always been to find happiness, but I think my personal philosophy to achieve happiness has continually changed. At this point in my life, I believe that any and every experience is worthwhile. Experiences give you depth as a person and they expose you to different ideas and perspectives. I am a happy person, so I feel like I must be doing something right.

I slept under a full moon on the sand dunes of the Sahara desert. That's a night I will never forget.
