About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just wanna see the world, one couch at a time!

ABOUT ME

Hi! I am a freelance dance artist based in Brooklyn, coffee-slinging barista, and work in the non-profit sector....whew. I am originally from Jackson (hole), Wyoming, where I grew up skiing, hiking, kayaking, etc...pretty much frolicking in the outdoors any chance I got. I've been in the tristate area for about 7 years now, and although I miss the mountains, I love this city and the vast array of people that live here; plus, I try to travel as much as possible so I don't get stir crazy in this concrete jungle. Currently training to be a pilates instructor, and trying to travel as much as possible!

PHILOSOPHY

I strive to believe that human beings are innately good and well intentioned...so far, that's working out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a bookcase full of things that I'm trying to work my way through. Currently reading a book by Frederick Cooper and studying my pilates text books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was working at secondary school outside of Arusha, Tanzania, I attended a Maasai woman's coming-of-age ceremony. Long story short - I drank fresh sheep's blood.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a Pilates mat class, how to longboard, build a desk, and navigate the subway system.
