ABOUT ME

I just spent the last year living/working in a homeless shelter in Kansas City, Missouri. It was tough, it made me fight with myself, and I'm still trying to adjust to regular life. I used to work at an elementary school and teach 3rd graders about Jesus and the Catholic Church, although I'm no square holy-roller.

I like to be outside, I like the country, and I like big cities too. I've traveled more in the last year than ever in my entire life, and I think I've got a taste for it. I wish I could find an environmentally responsible way to travel.

That's about it, right now.

PHILOSOPHY

The world needs a lot of hands to keep it moving. Of course, its fully capable of moving on its own, too.

I like a thousand different kinds of film, but I really like silent movies, foreign (to the US) films, and westerns.

I listen to a wide variety of music. Everything from Los Tigres del Norte to Marnie Stern, but my tastes tend towards rock en español and alt-country.

I read as much and whenever I can, these days.
