I am 20 years old, from Denmark but currently living in Washington DC. I have only lived here since December 2018, and before that I lived in Massachusetts for about 14 months. The reason I live in USA is because I’m an au pair, so I take care of children. I spend my free time with friends, going out to eat or walk around the city

I find this as a good way of going places and living somewhere you wouldn’t necessarily live if it was a hotel. It’s also a great way of meeting locals, who always has the best recommendations of things to see and places to eat

I love all kinds of music, I love singing along to songs (with no talent). I like a good comedy movie and rom coms are probably my favorites. I read a lot of books and prefer to read in English over my native language (danish).

Moving to USA at the age of 18 was definitely a big step to find myself as a person and become more independent
