I’m Amanda, originally from New Brunswick, Canada but have spent much of the last decade working, studying and traveling around North America. After a year of traveling Australia, Bali & Mexico, I call Vancouver, British Columbia my home.

I love meeting and connecting with creative, like minded people, experiencing things I never have before and growing as an individual. I Have a degree in Human Kinetics with a minor Psychology & love studying yoga: Pranayama, Nidra & Hatha.

I love music, dance, yoga, art, connecting and expanding my awareness in this world. I believe everyone in life has something to teach you if you're willing to learn and be patient. This is part of the reason I love adventure so much, I learn first hand who people are at ground zero, about culture, stereotypes and what it means to live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to meet new people. To give and to receive. I think it's the best way to travel as I have made some of the best connections through platforms such as this. I am couchsurfing to connect with more people outside of my circle, travel and get the authentic experience of the locals that a hotel doesn't offer. I have always hosted people in my home so they can save on $, get a warm shower and have a roof over their head. I am a believer of karmic exchange of energy.
