Overview
About Me
Currently being a bit of a floating nomad as I focus on the things that bring me joy and light. No couch to offer at this time, however, wouldn't mean I won't in the future. Born and raised in Ohio. Dedicated 20 years to a job far different from the remote accounting for non-profits firm I now work for. Have a young adult son I may sometimes bring on my adventures to broaden his exposure to a built community. Looking forward to hearing others experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently looking for low cost/no cost ways to be able to be more present in the lives of my ex's teenagers lives while also making the trip worth it in additional ways by spending time with friends I already have AND add new buddies who have space for me to crash at their house for the night while adventuring around a town I use to live in but didn't explore much - but to also have an alternative way to meet new people in new towns I've never been to before!
Interests
I have chronic health conditions that complicate my ability to always do what I want to do when I want to do it, so some may consider my plans flakey, but I try to instead view it as spontaneous. Connecting with the Earth and people, and connecting people, is some of my greatest joys!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've introduced many adults in the last 7 years that have become close friends with each other. Making friends as adults is hard... I love being able to follow my intuition and bring great people together
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently trying to dig deep within myself to rediscover the skills I have engrained in me to share with others. 43 years of camping has provided some benefits.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to help with meals or snuggling pets! I'm also a pretty quiet person so not a disruption to those who are also low-key.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Germany
