I love discovering new places and meeting new people! I've lived in the same, INCREDIBLE part of Colorado my entire life, and the best way I can enjoy my home is to GO OUT and explore new places and have new adventures!

Music saturates my life. I'm down for pretty much any kind of music, especially the stuff with a folk influence and something to say. I write music of my own, and perform originals and covers with my band/duo Five 14. I play guitar (and almost anything with strings and frets) and sing, and love to play music with other musicians. To make a living, I teach private guitar lessons to all ages and skill levels, and it's the best job I could possibly have for this season of my life!

Coffee is an adventure of its own! I'll take the hidden gem of a local coffee shop/hub over Starbucks any day. I usually take it black with a hint of vanilla or simple syrup to better experience the unique flavor of the cup in front of me.

I'm always down for a good hike, going swing dancing, doing some rock climbing, seeing live performances (music, theater, dance etc.), and eating delicious foods!

I don't smoke or do any kind of drug (unless you consider caffeine a drug), and I don't get drunk. If you offer, I'll kindly decline.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are so many wonderful people and places to discover, and yet financial barriers often prevent me from GOING. My favorite way to travel has always been by doing the less touristy things, and what better way than to connect and join with locals to see their home and community!

I hope to host at some point in my life, but I already live with 5 other people, so that's not quite something that I can do in this season of life.
