Hi, I'm Amanda, born and raised in São Luís, Maranhão.

I believe I'm an open minded person, easy going, ready to help, and I like to explore and learn new things. I just graduated in Archaeology here in Brazil, I love to talk about cultural differences and life in general. And I hope that soon I'll be able to host people in my place.

I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and now I'm currently learning German.

Because I'm planning on travelling this year, and I like the idea of going somewhere you don't know anyone and meet new people, make new friends, even stay in their place. I appreciate this kind of hospitality.

My favorite books are from a trilogy called The Name of the Wind, by Patrich Rothfuss, I also enjoy Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon. I like to watch anything if there is a good plot, except horror movies. And music depends on my mood.

I lived inside an old prison and fort (Spike Island) for a month during a bioarchaeology field school in Ireland. That was sick!
