I am a current graduate student at the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA. I am interning from June to September in Nairobi, Kenya at an INGO, working on a research project that seeks to empower young adolescent girls through education! I absolutely love animals (especially my dog, Niko), traveling, reading in bed, watching movies, going to the beach, laughing, fashion, eating yummy meals (but not so much cooking them - I'm kind of useless in the kitchen to be honest), and hanging out with friends old and new! I am also a HUGE ice hockey fan - GO CAPS! :)

Lived in St. John, USVI for 2 months while working at an eco-lodge. Spent most of this time fixing up the cabins which had been destroyed by a hurricane that ripped through the island the day after I arrived!
