Hello fellow travelers and adventurers! I am a masters student at UBC. I moved to cold, rainy Canada all the way from sunny South Africa. It was a huge change and now I want to do some touristy stuff in my new home!

Being a super broke student, I don't get to travel as much as I would like to. Hosting/meeting people on CS is my way of getting to experience new cultures, as well as see my own through new eyes.

Musica, film e libri

This is an impossible section to fill out since I change my mind more than Hogwarts changes Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers, but I'll give it a try: I'm pretty much guaranteed to love anything by the Coen Brothers (No Country for Old Men, O Brother, The Big Lebowski). By the time you read this I'm probably already listening to something else but right now I am loving Cat Empire, Kaleo, Two Door Cinema Club, Nothing But Thieves, Grassy Spark (and about a hundred other artists/bands).

I once spent 18 hours in a car with my best friends, driving across the country for a music festival! We didn’t know any of the bands playing, we just wanted one last spontaneous trip together before we graduate and move away from each other.
