Hi, my names Amanda, I am a 32 year old female from London, England.
Some things you should know about me, I love to laugh, I am very laid back and relaxed and I'm a very considerate and clean person with respect for other people's things.

I am on a years break from work and am travelling around the world (Life's to Short!!)

Until February this year (2015) I was working in the Telecommunication arena with one of the Uk's largest networks! I was responsible for the daily running of the network and had an amazing team working with me.

Now on my year's break I have travelled around many countries around Asia and have many more places I want to see! Travelling/Backpacking is a complete addiction and I've loved the places and people I have met on this journey so far!

There's a lot more to know but too much to fit on here, so hopefully I can say I look forward to meeting some of you that read my profile and are kind enough to host me!

I'm couch-surfing so that I can meet even more amazing people and get to know the areas I'm looking at staying through the eyes of a local.
I have already met so many amazing people on this journey so far and can't wait to meet more!

I have many interests, but to list just a few I love Movies, Reading, Horse Riding, Surfing and of course travelling around the world!

Errrrm not sure where to start with this list, I like lots of various types of music but some of the best to me are Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, ACDC and Aerosmith.

Picking a favourite movie is almost impossible to me, there are so many amazing films to pick from! Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Lord of the Rings, The Shawshank Redemption, an affair to Remember, Forest Gump, Star Wars (the original 3), Gladiator and Indiana Jones (again just the first 3)! But I could go on about movies all day so I'll stop there!

My Favourite book of all time is Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice! I read a lot and yes as a British woman I have read all the Harry Potter books and loved them 😁! I also like, crime and thriller books and the occasional rom-com books.

Earlier this year (April 2015) I made the climb and reached Everest Base Camp!
This has been something on my Bucket List for a while and was an incredible challenge and experience and I couldn't be happier that I made it 😁.
The scenery the Himalayas showed me has been some of the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life!

On my travels I have been helping/teaching people from around the world with their English if it's not their first language. I'm also pretty handy with computers and am always willing to help teach anyone that wants to know more!

I love learning new things and would love to learn a new language! I have a lot or respect for people that can speak more than the language they were born into!
