My city is defined by its hope and the potential of its people. Imagine a place from which kids are determined to leave - just a stop on your path on your way to bigger and better places. But also imagine a city made up of humble spaces our residents made for themselves, each filled with handfuls of glowing, hot believers. I think Stockton will be America's comeback kid; it will become a model for cities like it. I want to be a place-maker, an ambassador for the city I love the most. But to understand my own home, I need to visit others'. I want to know why you love your city, and I want to experience its community even if just for a day.
