我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Two reasons. First of all, why pay to sleep when traveling if I can do it for free? I am very low maintenance and I don't need a perfectly fluffed king size bed to be happy - a couch works just fine for me! Second, hotels usually have no atmosphere. It's just a place to sleep for the night. I would much prefer to stay with someone who is ingrained in the local culture and can tell me about the must hit spots, as well as tell me about themselves - I love meeting new people!

And the same goes vice versa! Why make someone pay for a hotel when I have a couch they can use for free? Traveling is all about the experience and if saving someone money on hotel means that they can do more activities in Michigan, then I am happy to make that happen.
