Hey y'all! My name is Amanda and I'm new to CS! I recently graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Biology and will be moving to New York City in the Fall to work on a Master's Degree. I've been in quite the rush to fall into that school->degree->career grind lately, but I'm here to mix it up a bit! I'm currently trying to find my niche in this big world 🙃🌍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this site through my good friend who's spent the last 9 months traveling the world using it and her stories encouraged me to give it a try! She's shared some incredible stories with me and I'd really love to join this community and create stories of my own. In fact, I'm meeting up with her in Honolulu to try it out for my first time and I can't wait to make new friends and memories around the globe!

Interests

I enjoy just about any outdoor activity like hiking, pick-up sports, snowboarding, swimming and honestly just sitting outside in the fresh air :)

Currently my favorite hobbies are learning French and reading, so anyone who can offer help in French or suggest a good book, hit me up!

I love learning new things and I'm sure I'll pick up more than I thought I'd ever learn on my trips!

I don't have much to share, cause I'm a broke college student. But I make a really cool friend & if you get some string, I can make you a sweet friendship bracelet (I'll try at least). I'll also have a place in NYC soon too, so there's that.
