Hello! My name is Amanda, and I live in Detroit and, although I've had a profile for a few years, I only recently have begun to use it. My boyfriend and I own a house in Eastish- Central Detroit, east of Woodward ave, west of the Lodge (M-10), a few blocks south of Highland Park. If you're unfamiliar with the area, that should be enough info to find a general location on a map. ;)

My boyfriend and I work part time and have very flexible schedules, and are happy to accommodate travelers. Detroit is an awesome city to explore, and there is always something to get into. We both love to cook, and have many friends who do as well... The makings of great potlucks! We've got spare instruments for guests, a car if you need a ride to/from anywhere, and those of you with mycological interests will be pleasantly surprised, as we're in the process of establishing a mushroom farm.

My interests are vast and varied, and rooted in the right brain, generally speaking... Although I've always had an affinity for puzzles and words. I've also recently become quite interested in gardening and permaculture, and welcome input as I've got a lot to learn.
