I'm Amanda. I like tea, animals, and puns. I know a lot of jokes and I'm happy to share them or keep them to myself! I have a degree in Animal Biotechnology and Conservation, and if you have any ideas what I should do with that, please let me know.

I currently work at Brown University, where it is my job to talk about Middle-Eastern politics all day long. When I am not at my job, I work on a farm, train horses, go on hikes, read books, and play board games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals and see the world in all its authenticity. It's also a great way to connect and share stories. I value stories, hospitality, and friendship very highly. Couchsurfing renews my faith that there are real, good people in this world.

Music! I love music! I have recently been very into indie-folk music and jazz. I am a sucker for good jazz singers and I wish I could be one.

Books! I will read almost anything, but I am a fantasy nerd and Patrick Rothfuss is my favorite author.

I'd like to learn everything and anything! I can teach how to crochet, how to play the ukulele, and I can help with animal training if you have any pets.
