ABOUT ME

Hello there! I have lived in Perth, Australia my entire life and am super excited to be backpacking around Europe for 9 months with my boyfriend Trent. I finished studying graphic design and photography at the end of last year. Although I love design and can't wait to work in my field I really want to explore the world and meet lots of new people first :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Co-hosted with my boyfriend Trent Matthews at his apartment in Perth, Western Australia last year. I am now looking to stay with some couchsurfers whilst travelling through Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Co-hosted for a few months in Perth. Currently couchsurfing across Europe.

Interests

I enjoy travelling, riding my bike and exploring pretty woodlands.
I love eating blueberries and drinking tea.
I enjoy admiring antiques, historical houses and colourful flowers.
I am passionate about graphic design, typography, photography and letterpress printing.
I try to lead a healthy and minimalist lifestyle. Vegetarian food and fresh green juice with ginger is the best! Eat superfoods!
I have an obsession with squirrels....and rabbits...and cats. They are all adorable!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Bombay Bicycle Club, M83, Foals, Delphic, Freelance Whales, Passion Pit, Sigur Ros, The Maccabees, Magic Man...to name a few. I like Indie, Post-Rock and Ambient mostly.

Movies: The Young Victoria, Revolutionary Road, Anna Karenina, A Beautiful Mind, Secret Garden

TV: Don't watch much but I do love Mad Men and Downton Abbey.

Books: Can't think of my favourites but I'm currently reading Capturing the Light: The birth of photography. Quite good indeed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing a squirrel in real life and feeding it some almonds. THEY ARE SO CUTE! I wish we had them in Australia! :D

Hiking the Laugavegur trail in Iceland. Glaciers, giant rainbows, walking across freezing cold rivers (with bare feet!), climbing mountains, geothermal hot springs, camping in wind so strong I thought the tent was going to blow away...it was epic!
