Detroit native/Grand Rapids transplant. I grew up halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor, and I moved to Holland, MI for college. I now live in downtown Grand Rapids, where I teach elementary students.
I am passionate about reading and cooking, and I love sharing these things with others, especially the children I teach. I love exploring new places, and I love sharing my home and my favorite places with others.
We are meant to travel. We have so many means to do so. While it's great to grow roots in a place, I also think it's a shame when we don't take the opportunity to learn more about our world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to travel, and I hope to find companions around the world that I can stay with and explore new cities with. I hope to provide a warm home, a warm shower, a good meal, and possibly new adventures with any travelers that may come my way.
I am a CS newbie! I've hosted a number of friends, and I have slept on a number of friends' couches and floors, but I am new to the world of hosting traveling strangers. I am open to and excited about the experience.
