About Me

to learn.

Detroit native/Grand Rapids transplant. Here in Grand Rapids, I teach English learners and will soon begin culinary school. My adventures include exploring my own city, creating delicious drinks and food, traveling to other cities, and spending time with friends and family.

I am passionate about reading and cooking, and I love sharing these things with others, especially the children I teach. I love exploring new places, and I love sharing my home and my favorite places with others.

We are meant to travel. We have so many means to do so. While it's great to grow roots in a place, I also think it's a shame when we don't take the opportunity to learn more about our world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and I hope to find companions around the world that I can stay with and explore new cities with. I hope to provide a warm home, a warm shower, a good meal, and possibly new adventures with any travelers that may come my way.

I am a CS newbie! I've hosted a number of friends, and I have slept on a number of friends' couches and floors, but I am new to the world of hosting traveling strangers. I am open to and excited about the experience.
