ABOUT ME

I love travelling and meeting new people, especially if they come from another culture than my own. I spent a year as an exchange student in Chile which was an amazing experience!
I'm a very happy person who always tries to look on the bright side of life. I'm a vegetarian for moral and environmental reasons but I don't say no to trying new, foreign, interesting foods :)
When travelling I like to get to know the culture and the people, not only the touristy sights!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing but have several friends and siblings who have had great experiences! I'm really looking forward to my first couchsurfing experiences :)

Interests

I like learning new things. If I encounter something I don't know I have to look it up; be it a word, a place or a person. I want to know everything! I want to learn as many languages as I possibly can! :)
I also like music, both listening and making it myself.
I'm very interested in environmental issues. I enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking.
I used to practice yoga but haven't really had the time lately. I hope I can pick it up again soon!
I enjoy eating good food ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While on exchange in Chile I went skiing in the Andes. It was an amazing day. The sun was shining and we were far above the clouds. The only negative part was the terrible sunburn I got which made it hard to eat and smile for several days afterwards!
