ABOUT ME

I grew up on a tiny island in the northeast of the United States. My island community contributed immensely to my development, values, and desire to advocate for social and environmental justice, which is what I do for a living. After 17 years on the island I moved to the mainland and bounced around attending college in South Carolina and Hawai'i. I love & miss Hawai'i so much. I graduated in '08 and traveled/volunteered a bit- South Africa and all of Central America (fell in love with Nicaragua :). I live in Philly now and I'm always down to travel. I have the wanderlust. Bad.
I love a good time & the ocean but I also enjoy cultural or intellectual experiences. I love connecting with people, making new friends, and sharing my knowledge or experiences that might be helpful or interesting to others. I would consider myself inquisitive and I am often not afraid to share my opinions.
