About Me
ABOUT ME
I hail from the suburbs of Washington DC, and recently graduated from Furman University with a bachelors in Sustainability Sciences. In the fall I will be volunteering with AmeriCorps in California, but for the summer I am looking to travel a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I cannot host, but I hope to in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with hosts in Italy and Austria. They were wonderful experiences and I would love to continue visiting hosts and learning from locals.
Interests
I love to travel and experience all different cultures and learn new languages. I love outdoor activities, especially hiking, snorkeling and kayaking. I appreciate all forms of art, though I'm not particularly talented. I love cooking and I train off and on in Aikido.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a variety of music, and am obsessed with musicals and theater.
My favorite all time series is Harry Potter. I also love Perks of Being a Wallflower and any Barbara Kingsolver novel.
My favorite movies include the Princess Bride, Pirates of the Carribbean, 10 Things I Hate About You, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings. I also love basically all Disney and Marvel movies.
There's so much more I would put on this list, but there's limited space
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had some amazing experiences while travelling - from assisting a nature reserve in tagging rhinos to participating in a martial arts seminar in Japan.
